Individuals of all sewing levels and generations participate in Central Iowa ASG. We create. We enjoy sewing for fashion, for function, for ourselves, families, friends and community.
Central Iowa Chapter Activities
Monthly Chapter meetings feature a sewing education program, a brief business meeting, time for members to share their sewing, and a free table. Yes, there's free fabric and sewing items at most of the monthly meetings. Chapter meetings are typically the third Saturday morning of the month in Huxley.
Special Interest Groups  meet throughout central Iowa. They focus on a variety sewing topics like garment sewing, fitting and designing.
Special Events such as classes with sewing experts,  sewing retreats and fabric sales are a part of our Chapter activities.
